The Tigers have rounded off a week of celebration by winning two major honours at the 2016 Stadium Events and Hospitality Awards.
For the second year in a row, the Club scooped the Matchday Hospitality Award (Medium Stadium) and the Overall Matchday Hospitality Award, beating off competition from 28 rival stadia from across the leagues.
The awards come in the same week that the football club secured promotion back to the Premier League with a thrilling victory over Sheffield Wednesday at Wembley.
Highlighting the quality, effort and dedication of events teams throughout the divisions, the Tigers faced strong competition for both awards, with votes submitted by professional Salon Culinaire chef judges who experienced matchday hospitality at UK clubs throughout the season and marked them following strict criteria.
Dan Coulson, General Manager of Tiger Events, was delighted to win the Matchday Hospitality Award and Overall Matchday Hospitality Award for a second successive year, saying: “To win in 2015 was amazing, but to win again in 2016 is just incredible.
“This award belongs not only to the football club and Venue Catering Partner, but all the wonderful staff and suppliers who work passionately and tirelessly to deliver the best service we can every time.
“Winning these two awards is a real team effort. The whole matchday experience is judged - from entering the car park, arrival at reception, service of the waiting staff, quality of the food, friendliness of the stewards inside the ground and everything in between – and I would like to say a huge thank you to everybody who has helped to make our matchday experience an award-winning one.”
The Tigers were voted as winners of the Matchday Hospitality Award (Medium Stadium) ahead of Everton and Bolton Wanderers, and took the Overall Matchday Hospitality Award ahead of the winners of the Large and Small Stadium awards, Manchester City and Morecambe.
